Where this data comes from. What we change. What we don't.

ffide is a directory that mirrors the Insurance Commission of the Philippines registry. It links back to the IC's official records — here's exactly how, and where the lines are drawn.

Where the data comes from

Every license on ffide originates from public PDFs published by the Insurance Commission on insurance.gov.ph. Imports happen as soon as a roster is published, and each license card links directly to its source PDF.

We capture only what the IC publishes, without modification: name, company affiliation, license type, agent type, expiration date, and the IC record number.

What we never touch

  • Names are kept verbatim — only capitalization is normalized for legibility.
  • License and company assignments are never altered.
  • Expiry dates are updated only when a newer IC roster supersedes an older one.
  • License history is append-only, with timestamps — records are never overwritten or deleted.

How current is this record

IC publication timing varies, so a record is exactly as current as the roster it came from. Three things let you judge that at a glance:

  • The IC-Listed badge appears only when a professional has an active license on the latest roster.
  • Each profile shows a “last verified” date — the source document date.
  • Every license links to its source PDF so you can read the original.

How to cross-check anything yourself

  1. 1Open the professional's profile and note the IC record number on the license.
  2. 2Click the source PDF link to open the exact IC roster document.
  3. 3Find the record number on the document — it's the same row we imported from.
  4. 4Compare the name, company, license type, and expiry. What we show should match the IC's own page, field for field.
